About
The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. The World’s first skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
