Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first skateboard park was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Today, there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.

What You Will Learn
Who We Teach in Wood-Ridge
All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. All levels will get something from our instruction. It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
