About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
