About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Today, there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
