Who We Teach in Big Stone Gap
We offer lessons for all levels and ages. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Many years later, the first skate park was made in California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
