About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first skateboard park was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skate parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
