About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970’s, the first skate park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next few years. Now there are 2,600 skate parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
