The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. The first skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.

All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. Beginners, intermediates, and advanced will all improve in our lessons It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
