The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. The first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.

Skateboarding 101 Curriculum
Who?
We offer lessons for all levels and for ages 4 and up. Beginners, intermediates, and advanced will all improve in our lessons It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
