We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. You can start skateboarding at any age. About
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
