Not until the 1970’s, the first skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Thousands skate parks that were built in the next years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
