Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. Many skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
