The World’s first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skate parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
