About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next dozen years. Now there are 2,600 skate parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
