The World’s first skate park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next few years. Today, there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
