About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. The World’s first skatepark was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
