Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. Many years later, the first skate park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
