We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About
The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next few years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
