About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. The first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next dozen years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
