The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. The World’s first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
