About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. The World’s first skate park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next years. Now there are 2,600 skate parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
