Skateboarding 101 Course Curriculum
Who?
We offer lessons for all levels and for ages 4 and up. All levels will get something from our instruction. It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age.
About Skateboarding
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
