About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The first skate park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Thousands skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
