About Skateboarding
The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first skate park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Thousands skateparks that were built in the next few years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
