Who We Teach in Murphysboro
We offer lessons for all levels and for ages 4 and up. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. Skateboarding isn’t just for kids One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

About Skateboarding
The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. Many years later, the first skatepark was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
