We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. Skateboarding isn’t just for kids One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first skatepark was made in California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Thousands skateparks that were built in the next few years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
