About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The first skatepark was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Now there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
