The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. The first skatepark was made in California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
