About
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. The first skatepark was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Today, there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
