The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard boom was about to begin. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateboarding parks in America.
