About Skateboarding
The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. The first skate park was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Now there are more than 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
