About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. The World’s first concrete skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
