About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The World’s first skatepark was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
