About Skateboarding
The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
