About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. The first skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skate parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
