About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. The World’s first skate park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
