About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next few years. Now there are more than 2,600 skate parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.

The American Skateboard Association has given our school full certification to teach. In fact, it has given us their highest level of rating. Our school has taught over 12,000 students which is more than any other school. We teach all ages.
Skateboarding 101 Course Curriculum
Who?
We have students of all ages and levels. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
