We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start. About
The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970’s, the first skatepark was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
