The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The first skate park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Thousands skate parks that were built in the next twenty years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.

We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late to start.
