About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next few years. Today, there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
