Not until the 1970’s, the first skateboard park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Today, there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
