Skateboarding 101 Course Curriculum
Who?
All ages and levels are welcomed at our lessons. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. We have taught a 78 year-old grand father who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. It is never too late. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. The first skatepark was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next few years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
