About Skateboarding
The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to take their surfing to the streets. The first skateboard park was made in California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next dozen years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
