About
The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first skate park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Thousands skateparks that were built in the next dozen years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
