Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Many years later, the first skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard building boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Now there are more than 2,600 skate parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
