It is never too late to start. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970’s, the first skateboard park was made in Southern California. No one knew the skateboard park boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skate parks that were built in the next few years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
