The World’s first skatepark was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. Thousands skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Now there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
