Skateboarding 101 Course Curriculum
Our Students in Corning
We have students of all ages and levels. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late to start. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.

About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. Not until the 1970’s, the first skate park was made in California. No one knew the skateboard boom was about to begin. Many skateparks that were built in the next few years. Today, there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
