We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. About
Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first skate park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
