Who We Teach in Mammoth Lakes
We have students of all ages and levels. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The first skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard park boom was about to begin. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
